SAI FACULTY SECURES 1ST IN PUAN ECONOMIC POLICY CHALLENGE 2026

The School of Artificial Intelligence, UMT has set a national benchmark with Professor Dr Muhammad Shoaib Farooq securing 1st Place Nationwide in the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) Economic Policy Challenge 2026. Recognized as the #1 Overall Winner across all 14 national themes, Dr Shoaib Farooq emerged at the top among 70 leading professionals from the fields of Economics, Technology, and Policy.
The distinguished achievement was recognized by the U.S. Consulate, with the support of the U.S. Mission and the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP). His success reflects his exceptional expertise, strategic insight, and ability to contribute meaningful perspectives at the intersection of technology, economics, and public policy.
This national recognition highlights SAI-UMT’s commitment to fostering faculty excellence, interdisciplinary thought leadership, and impactful contributions to the evolving technology and policy landscape.
